We saw Black Panther: Wakanda Forever last night... almost forgot it was in theaters with the busy schedule we had over the last 2 months.  The trailers DID NOT do this movie justice.  It did not look like it was going to be good.. however, that's FAR from reality for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

This movie started off with an AWESOME tribute to Chadwick Boseman.  Truly spectacular.  The movie was great, action and flow were better than the original Black Panther IMO... but without Chadwick Boseman... which was hard to see Black Panther without him.

Has anyone else checked this movie out? Comments, Thoughts... Post it up!

I thought it was pretty good. I guess the plot hole that bothers me a little bit is that for all intents and purposes, Black Panther had already been dead for five years once after the snap. Who was in charge then? Did they already have one funeral after the snap? Why wasn't there another Black Panther already? It seems like that should have already been resolved once.

Yeah... there are a lot of plot holes all over the Marvel Universe after the snap.  They plugged many of the holes with the multiverse.  You bring up good points @mastermario .  They probably didn't address them in hopes of people just ignoring those facts.  Even worse... he blips back just to die of some weird disease lol.  Come on man...

Maybe they did resolve it, but that was undone once the Black Panther blipped back... and then they had to yet again open the wound.

I saw it last night. The tributes to Chadwick Boseman were great. The actors who reprised roles from the first movie all did outstanding jobs. The casting was quite solid.

The antagonist was a little bit ridiculous in being overpowered. Just happening to find a genius MIT student who rivals Tony Stark and can build an Iron Man suit is total convenient plot armor, figuratively and literally. The blue water people being able to insta-heal just got a bit silly.[/spoilers]

So, the acting was great. Some of the writing was too loose for my liking though. 7/10 overall; it made for a great action flick with great tribute work, but lacks the nuance of more thoughtful writing for the main plot.

I hated that character in every way for the same reason. I suppose she'll be back but I would really prefer not. The new Disney "Mary Sue".
