In the Metroid Amiibo Thread (http://www.chickendinnergaming.com/forum/index.php?topic=251.0) I highlighted the Metroid and Samus Amiibos.   The Metroid one looks especially cool.

What Amiibos do you have? Which ones do you think are the coolest... or even then worst?

What are some of the cool functionalities they provide on the Wii U, 3DS, or Nintendo Switch?

So far the coolest looking Amiibo is the Metroid amiibo.

Outside of that the Breath of the Wild Amiibos are pretty awesome. I've got all of the first wave and have yet to buy any of the second...

I've heavily abandonded playing anything with the amiibos. Their functionality is mostly superficial. Zelda basically gives a supply crate for its amiibos but most everything else is nothing more than a new set of clothes or something.

I have several Amiibos but I won't lie, I bought them as collectible figurines rather than with any intent to actually use them in a game. Some are still in the package, in fact.

They are still packed until I can get a glass cabinet to display them in, but off the top of my head this is what I remember having:
Samus Aran
Zero Suit Samus
Marth
Wii Fitness Trainer
Charizard
Wolf Link and Midna
Wind Waker Link
Sheik

I still really want Lucina, Bayonetta, and Cloud.

I just purchased, used, Donkey Kong and Bowser from my local Game X Change. I too got them as stand up figurines. Been thinking about collecting a few for a while. I guess I have finally started. They are so detailed. Mine are the Skylanders amiibo hybrids.

I need to like get a list of mine, lol.  I have wayyy too many.  Some of my favorites though are the Monster Hunter Stories ones.  I have 3 of them that we still have in the boxes. 

@Kinikko I've never seen the monster hunter ones, those are awesome.

Now I'm interested in the Monster Hunter ones.  8)

I only have one which is Twilight Princess Wolf Link, I really wanted the Breath of the Wild ones but they got really expensive and hard to find ;-;

Tho I want them more to display than use XD

@Aya-Kun exactly on the price tag. These are pretty detailed and cool looking... but the price tag can be hefty.  Like the Metroid Amiibos...  I think they are still $30 for both at Gamestop.   But amazon and other places have them for $38-45 or more.

I lucked out on the Breath of the Wild Amiibos, I had such a hard time finding the guardian and by happenstance I walked by a clearance section in best buy. They had 3 or 4 of the Breath of the Wild Amiibos and I scored a Guardian for 12 bucks.

It blew my mind. These things are so hard to find in general, I couldn't believe something outside of animal crossing was on clearance. I can't even find these things used anywhere.

I'm no stranger to spending money on figures as I buy a lot of anime figures but the prices for these are crazy its like they didn't make enough of them
