Sony has officially shown their new controller for the Playstation 5. Here is a picture for what it will look like below! There will be an article for this controller, which will be below as well.

That controller looks nice... that's a very cool design. I'd really like to buy a PlayStation 5 1st day.
I'm hoping ... per the reports... that all PS4 games are immediately playable... and PSN games can be available on the PS5 system that you had on PS4. That would be awesome. I only have the 1 article stating PS4 games will work on the PS5... but I didn't see anything about PSM yet.
The design itself is great, but I'm not wild about that color scheme. Where is my all black controller? :))

Blue lights are fine, though.
I dig it. I like white consoles as well as white controllers.
lol... Black and Red... that's true. It's becoming more Blue and Black.... and even lime green and black!
@targetrasp I dig it as well... although I think the PlayStation 4 still has a lot of life left. We just don't see the strain on consoles as much anymore. IE when N64 was going out and we were onto the Gamecube...etc... we saw a big difference. SAme with PlayStation 2 to 3. The jumps don't look as large. Remember... I'm not a 4k gamer yet.

My nephew was saying, "I promise you will hate the new controller." He was wrong. I have been a fan of Sony PlayStation controllers since the PSone iteration. If it ain't broke...don't fix it! Sony has pretty much done everything right from day one.
My only comment on that controller is that the colors are essential!

Yeah... I agree
@Grindspine ... it grew into my favorite controller. Oddly enough. I really liked the Gamecube controller, but some others had complaints. I never was a huge fan of the Xbox Controller. It was alright, but not my favorite. The PlayStation controller really took the favorite spot. The PS4 controller is really nice... so I cannot wait to get my hands on the Ps5 controller.
