Title: Nintendo Switch Shortages
Post by: BLUEVOODU on September 06, 2020, 05:09:55 PM
Did anyone notice that it has been hard to find Nintendo Switches at Amazon, Best Buy, and many other stores?   There were a few articles stating there are shortages right now...   Now it looks like Best Buy has Switch lites in stock... but Amazon doesn't seem to have any 1st party (sold by Amazon) switches in stock in the lite or regular Nintendo Switch.

Have you noticed the same?  I don't even see any special editions being released anytime in the near future either

there's not been a switch in stock in asheville since march / april. It seems like a combo of supply chain disruption and increase in demand due to not doing anything else.

I've seen a few lites here and there and it looks like places are starting to get some stock but it's slim pickings in the electronics aisle anywhere

Yeah... it is odd!  Our Best Buy has Switch Lites it appears.  While those are cool, there are some games that are limited on it.. Still, I'm tempted to get one as a secondary switch.
