This game has been really fun and definitely worth a second time buying. (for the people who bought it on the Wii U.) The base game has received an overhaul with it's graphics and speed. There have been some menu changes and GUI changes as well. 3D World runs at 60 frames, even if undocked, while Bowser's Fury runs at 60 frames docked, and 30 frames undocked. The game looks beautiful, and the music is fantastic. Some mechanics from the original 3D World are still here like the Luigi easter eggs, cat momentum, and the ice speed glitch, and more. The new addition Bowser's Fury is the best side mode any Mario game has ever produced. The story is ok, but with a couple of twists, and you definitely want to 100% Bowser's fury for a reward. You want to do the same for 3D World as well. The gameplay is one of Mario's most unique gameplay yet. Bowser's spawn is based on time, and how many cat shines you have collected. I don't want to spoil too much more, so overall 10/10 game, and definitely worth the re-purchase.
This game is a lot of fun. The multiplayer on the bowser portion is pretty good as well. The multiplayer is definitely better than Oddysey... where you only get to be the hat. The animation of Bowser and his attacks are pretty cool as well!
Definitely worth a buy or at least a play.
