We saw this last weekend. What in the world did I just watch?! lol ;D Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness... in my opinion, was a great movie! It was a borderline horror flick as well. There were very cool cameos... which I think will lead to new and awesome character involvement!
I'm not going to throw spoilers out there quite yet. But has anyone else seen this movie? What did you think?
Saw it and enjoyed it. Not great (had some flaws and the first half was a bit slow) but once it got to the second and third acts it gets much more exciting.
This is Sam Raimi allowed to be his usual self (for the most part) and it shows. Plus, Danny Elfman's music really made it stand out more than the other MCU movies. It's cheesy at points and also has some of the coolest visuals in a comic book movie at the same time.
For anyone who hasn't seen it, I would recommend going in with tepid expectations. Expect to have fun but might be disappointed in some aspects.
@Grindspine @retro junkie @targetrasp and heck... lets throw
@trkorecky and
@Polygon in here... Did you all have a chance to see this movie? If so, what are your thoughts?
@CreepinDeth --> I'm not sure why, but I enjoyed it a lot more than that. I dug how they started with the end credit scene from Wandavision. I really dug how the movie was created and the elements they used. Music was spot on... it was one of the more enjoyable Marvel movies in awhile.
BUMP!
Well my Daughter and I finally sat down together and watched this last night. We both agreed that this was a good movie. I personally think that they had intentions of making this movie before they released Wanda Vision. I look at Wanda Vision as a "prequel." But in no way does watching WandaVision prepare you for this movie. I would also classify this as being a great movie. This was straight Dr. Strange comicbook stuff.
Another Bump!
My favorite part is Zombie Strange lol... we are beyond the spoiler alert time thresholds. We recently watched this movie again. The other part I really liked --> How they're starting to incorporate the other characters (X-Men) that previously could not be incorporated. The future may have a ton more crossovers now! I am pumped for that.
Still one of my favorite scenes is the part where Wanda is chasing Strange (et all) down the long corridor. That was funny... and perfectly suspenseful.

Agreed haha.
The movie was fun and entertaining but I don't love making Wanda the villain so quickly. Everything is so disjointed in the MCU right now and the Wandavision show didn't really build at all to that, it was seeming to build up Agatha as a villain and the movie barely addressed Wandavision or Agatha at all.
